The government on Wednesday formed a three-member prosecution team to conduct trial in the case filed over the murder of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad.

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry on Wednesday issued a notification appointing advocate Mosharraf Hossain Kajol as chief prosecutor of the prosecution team.

Two other lawyers--- Ehsanul Haque Samaji and Md Abu Abdullah Bhuiyan—were appointed as special public prosecutors of the team to ensure quick trial in the sensational murder case.

Earlier, the government shifted the Abrar killing case from Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court to Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal-1 for quick trial.
