ITEC certification giving ceremony held

Certification distribution ceremony of Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) course was held at Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI) in Kolkata, India on Friday.

SRFTI Director Amaresh Chakrabarti was the chief guest while Sound Department Prof Abdur Razzak and EDM Assistant Prof Ashim Paul were also present on the occasion.

Some 30 students from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Vietnam and Maldives completed two courses on News and Current Affairs using the State of the Art Tools and Digital and Electronic Media Management.

A total of 16 journalists from different newspapers, news agencies and televisions took part in the scholarship programme.

The Ministry of External Affairs of India organised the course under ITEC flagship programme to increase skills of international professionals.

Bangladeshi participants in the scholarship programme are Kazi Sajidul Haque, Jasmin Ara Moli, Jannatul Islam Rahad, Salauddin Ahmed Reza, Naznin Akter Munni, Md Rasheduzzaman, Shaporan Haque, Shamim Akter Dola, Zakaria Ahmed, Mir Mohammad Ratul, Anjuman Layla Nawshin, Ashiqur Rahman Apu, Priya Kundu, Samia Jannah, Md Al Amin and Meherun Nahar Meghla.
