A view exchange meeting was held between the representatives of famous Japanese Telemedicine service company ‘T-ICU’ and the directors of Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) at the chamber office in the city’s Agrabad area on Sunday.
T-ICU Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Takayuki Nakanishi at the meeting said they want to contribute in health sector of Bangladesh.The Japanese medical team formed by experts with modern technology can help intensive care unit (ICU) patients in Bangladesh, he said.
The CEO also said they have plan to construct modern diagnostic centres and train the doctors and nurses for the ICU.
The CCCI leaders welcomed their plans and said that present government of the country is business and people-friendly and working to take the healthcare services at the door steps.
They also assured all out support from their side for the Japanese telemedicine team.
CCCI Directors Syed Jamal Ahmed, SM Abu Tayab, Anjan Shekhar Das and Syed Md Tanvir, former Director Mahfujul Hoque Shah, T-ICU COO, ED, Business Chief Kaniz Fatema and Chattogram Medical College Former Principal Dr Selim Md Jahangir were present at the meeting among others.
Later, the T-ICU representatives visited the permanent exhibition hall of the CCCI at the World Trade Centre.
