Art competition for children with autism held

MADARIPUR: Marking the ‘Mujib Year’, the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, an art competition was held on Monday at Proshises Autism School in Madaripur, working for children with special needs. A programme was held to award the winners of the art competition for the children.

The institute had started its journey working for children with autism in 1999 with 20 students said Dr Selina Akhter, founder Posies Autism School.

There are about 500 students with disabilities from different areas of the district admitted the institute.

All of children with autism took part in the competition in the event.
