‘Theatre Cycle’ to start its formal journey Feb 24

Cultural organisation ‘Theatre Cycle: Arts, Action, Change’ will formally start its journey on February 24. To mark the day, the organisation has arranged a discussion at Natmandal auditorium of Dhaka University. 

A galaxy of dignitaries including Dhaka University Theatre and Performance Studies Department professors Dr. Syed Jamil Ahmed and Dr. Israfeel Shaheen, Asiatic 3sixty Vice Chairperson Sara Zaker, Professor at Department of Architecture at BUET Dr. Zebun Nasreen Ahmed, Assistant Professor at Theatre and Performance Studies Department of DU Shahman Moishan will be present from the honorable advisory panel of Theatre Cycle will attend the programme.

A drama titled ‘Roots & Wings’ by Terry Roueche, directed by Md. Abdur Razzak and Shongkar Kumar Biswas, and two conceptual performances will also be staged on the day.

‘Theatre Cycle: Arts, Action, Change’ is a non-profit arts organisation based in Bangladesh and working in holistic approaches regarding the performing arts since its inception in 2019. This organisation envisions applying performing arts, especially theatre, as Panacea for the people of Bangladesh and Global world.
