RANGPUR: The ‘Satota Stores’ (integrity stores) set up at educational institutions without sellers would definitely play a key role in creating honest citizens for building a corruption-free society.

Anti-corruption activists and officials made the observation on Wednesday at a function arranged here for distribution of grants among 27 secondary level schools for establishing ‘Satota’ stores at those institutions, reports BSS.

Rangpur District Combined Office of Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) organised the event at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner with President of Rangpur District Corruption Prevention Committee (CPC) Shushanto Chandra Khan in the chair.

The District Combined Office of ACC distributed Taka 5.40-lakh among 20 secondary level educational institutions of all eight upazilas in the district with Taka 20,000 each.
