BPC holds discussion on tourism industry

Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation (BPC) has organised a discussion programme on Bangabandhu’s Sonar Bangla and Tourism Industry at Dhaka Resort in Gazipur recently.

Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Chairman Ram Chandra Das was present at the programme as the chief guest and Gazipur’s Superintendent of Police Begum Shamsunnahar graced the programme as special guest.

Dhaka Resort Chairman Md Emarat Hossain presided over the discussion.

Speaking at the programme, Parjatan Corporation chairman Ram Chandra Das said that the Awami League-led government is very much focused on tourism sector and has increased budget for the development of this sector.

Public and private sector will have to work together to fulfill the dream of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman towards building a Sonar Bangla.

Discussion programme was arranged marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
