US-Bangla Airlines adds new aircraft to its fleet

US-Bangla, one of the country’s leading private airlines, added another 72-seater brand new ATR 72-600 model aircraft raising its fleet number to twelve, highest for a private airline in the country.

The new aircraft landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Friday evening flying from the France.

Director Operations of the airline Monirul Haque Joarder and Director Administration Musa Mullah along with high officials received the new plane at the airport. 

Currently, in domestic routes, the airlines operates daily ten flights to Chattogram, six flights to Cox’s Bazar, five flights to Jashore, four flights to Saidpur, two flights to Sylhet and Rajshahi and one flight to Barishal from Dhaka.

In international routes, the airlines operate flight to Kolkata, Chennai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Muscat and Doha.

The airline started its journey on July 17, 2014 with two 76-seater Dash8-Q400 aircraft and with the maiden flight to Jashore.
