TRESemmé Bangladesh Fashion Week begins on Jan 23

TRESemmé Bangladesh Fashion Week-2020 will be held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential area from January 23 to 25. 

Since 2015, TRESemmé has been sponsoring various fashion events in Bangladesh. Last year TRESemmé launched the country’s biggest fashion event, “TRESemmé Bangladesh Fashion Week 2019”.

In continuation from last year, this year too TRESemmé is bringing TRESemmé Bangladesh Fashion Week-2020. Fashion Design Council of Bangladesh (FDCB) is the event partner and Le Meridien is the hospitality partner of this event. Non-profit organisation FDCB has been working in promoting the fashion and culture of Bangladesh in international platforms to create a market for Bangladeshi products.

21 local and 9 foreign designers will show their collection in the 3-day event. On first day, Anuj Sharma and Riddhi Jain from India and Ajay Gurung from Nepal will be showing their collection along with our local designers.

On second day, FDCB President Maheen Khan, will be joined by Emdad Hoque, Shaibal Saha, Farah Anjum Bari, Soumitra Mandal from India, along with Sonali Dharmawardena from Sri Lanka and other local designers will be presenting their collection.

On the third and final day of the event, the local designers Chandan Dewan, Kuhu, Lipi Khandaker and others will be accompanied by Alka Sharma and Asif Shaikh from India and Chandrika Tamang from Bhutan.

Moreover, TRESemmé will be working with the top hair stylists of the country to set the new hair style trends for the New Year.

Unilever Bangladesh Limited’s Beauty and Personal Care Director Nafees Anwar announced the event in a press conference held at a hotel in the capital on Thursday evening. FDCB President Mahin Khan also gave a speech at the event.
