Naval chief off to India

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury left Dhaka on Saturday on a five-day official visit to India.

Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) and Naval Administrative Authority, Dhaka were seen him off.

During the visit, the Navy chief will make courtesy calls with Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh, Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army General Bipin Rawat, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of the Indian Navy Admiral Karambir Singh and Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh. 

He will also meet Defence Secretary of India Ajay Kumar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Southern Naval Command (SNC) Vice Admiral Anil Kumar Chawla and Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Eastern Naval Command (ENC) Vice Admiral Atul Kumar Jain.
