Ottis Gibson, Owais shah and Grant flower will be coaching in the special edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), named Bangabandhu BPL, to celebrate the Father of the National Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary.

Gibson will be coaching Comilla Warriors while Grant Flower has been appointed as the head coach of Rangpur Rangers. Owais shah will be in charge of Rajshahi Royals

Ottis Gibson will be the most high profile of coaches in this year’s BPL for his experience in international cricket. He has recently coached South Africa in ICC World Cup 2019 but his performance was not up to the mark and his contract has not renewed. He also served as bowling coach of England.

Grant Flower has been long-time Pakistan batting coach and has some knowledge of Bangladeshi condition as he played here in the early days of his career. His contract was also not renewed after the World Cup.

Owais Shah is a relatively new face in the coaching business as he does not have any international coaching experience yet but has coached in county cricket.
