Intex South Asia begins in city

Creating a new paradigm in textile sourcing by successfully integrating the textile value chain on a single, global, trading platform, ‘Intex South Asia’s Bangladesh’ edition opened on Sunday and will continue till the 18th of November at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon in the city.

Inaugurated by Minister for Textiles and Jute Golam Dastagir Gazi, the two-day fair will connect buyers from Bangladesh and other South Asian countries to network with quality suppliers from over 10 countries showcasing Yarns, Apparel Fabrics, Denim Fabrics, Clothing Accessories and Allied Services, Dyes & Chemicals at Intex South Asia 2019-the biggest international apparel textile sourcing show in the South Asian region, said a press release.

Inaugurating Intex South Asia 2019, Minister for Textiles and Jute Golam Dastagir Gazi said, “The exhibition will create a good relationship with Bangladeshi garments traders in South Asian business.”

Deputy High Commissioner of High Commission of India Bishwadip Dey was present as special guest.

President, BTMA, Mohammed Ali Khokon, 1st Vice President, BKMEA Mohammed Hatem, President, IBCCI Abdul Matlub Ahmad and Managing Director, Worldex India Rajesh Bhagat, were present in the programme.
