Today is the 9th death anniversary of Shah Shamsuddin (Santhu Master), an organiser of the War of Independence and a former headmaster of Baghata High School in Katiade upazilla of Kishoreganj. Shah Shamsuddin is the father of Shah Waidul Islam, senior officer of City Bank Ltd.
To mark the day, a Qurankhwani and milad mahfil was arranged on Friday at his village home at Dakkin Chatol Katiadi in Kishoreganj.
His family members have requested all relatives and well-wishers to pray for the salvation of his departed soul.
