There was a discussion session before the play. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anisul Huq was the chief guest of the discussion. Other honourable members of BSJ were also took part on the session.

The play is based on the Indemnity Act of Bangladesh. The act was formulated to give immunity from legal action to the persons involved in the assassination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The Indemnity Act was repealed after the Awami League formed a government with Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of Sheikh Mujib, as Prime Minister of Bangladesh. The parliament scrapped the Indemnity Act on November 12, 1996.
