4th Tune Of Art: A Platform For Cross-Cultural Exchanges

The fourth edition of Tune of Art, an international art fest organized by FOCUS Bangladesh, was inaugurated by renowned artist Professor Jamal Ahmed with artist Md. Kauser Hossian, founder of FOCUS Bangladesh, in attendance at National Art Gallery-2, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, on November 8, 2019. The main goal for arranging this kind of festival is to develop a good relation among the artists hailing from various countries and create a platform for amateur and aspiring artists.

FOCUS Bangladesh has been organizing this event since 2015 and more than 200 artists from more than 17 countries such as Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Serbia, Pakistan, Turkey, Canada, Iran, Indonesia, Austria, Kosovo, Albania and Italy are taking part in the fest this year.

Artworks completed using different media such as watercolor, acrylic color, oil paint, pen sketching, paper etching and other forms like sculptures were on display at the fest.

But what’s so special about this festival? The fact that amateur artists get an opportunity to share the platform with renowned artists of the arena and exhibit their artworks along with the master artists is what makes this event a stand-out one. Moreover artists having different backgrounds can exchange differing cultural thoughts and develop mutual understanding.

The exhibition came to an end on November 12, 2019.
