‘Metro rails to assuage sufferings of commuters’

Director General (DG) of National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) Muhammad Munir Chowdhury on Tuesday said metro rail system will help to resolve the city’s terrible traffic problem and provide an urban transport service that is modern and comfortable.

He said the metro rail is being implemented at easing the traffic congestion in the capital and proving a faster and environment-friendly means of public transportation which will relive the city dwellers from multidimensional sufferings.

The DG was addressing at a seminar titled “Role of Metro rail to safe fuel and protect the environment” at NMST in the capital’s Agargoan area.

A total 45 trainees of fundamental course of National Academy for Planning and Development (NAPD) participated at the seminar.
