Technical jobs fair begins

Country’s largest jobs fair in technical sector began in the capital on Tuesday with a vow to place around 1,500 employments with fifty firms.

National Skills Development Council Executive Chairman Faruque Hossain inaugurated the bdjobs- Technical Jobs Fair at PSC Convention Hall in capital’s Mirpur area.

Among others, Bdjobs Chief Executive Fahim Mashroor, Director Prokash Roy Chowdhury and Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management President Mashequr Rahman Khan were present on the occasion.

There are 50 organisations have offered jobs placements in 250 categories of technical jobs including – mechanic, technician, driver, machine operator, cooking chef, nurse etc.

Organisers expected over ten thousands of job seekers will take part during the two-day long progamme.
