Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday termed the Bhola clashes as a conspiracy to destabilize the country and asked Bangladeshis to be alert and to have patience.

Addressing a meeting on upcoming congress of ruling Awami League’s front organization Jubo League at Ganabhaban, she said a Hindu minority boy’s facebook ID was hacked and a post to instigate religious violence was given by the hackers.

“Please be alert and have patience,” she appealed as a series of incidents were found to be conspiratorial apparently to derail the ongoing crack-down on graft and illegal activities within the ruling Awami League along with its affiliate organizations.

She added that action would be taken against those involved in the hacking of the boy’s ID and attacking the police.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Presidium member Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed and other senior leaders were present at the meeting.
