‘Condition of Quader’s heart improving gradually’

The health condition of Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader is improving gradually, physicians of Mount Elizabeth Hospital of Singapore said.

Doctors expressed their satisfaction over the progress of Quader’s health condition after his follow-up checkup on Friday.

The head of the medical team of Singapore Mount Elizabeth Hospital Dr Philip Koh Siam Soon said, “The health condition of Quader is stable and every parameter of his heart gets expected progress.”

The medical team conducted his follow-up health checkup at the hospital, said a press release of the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry whose minister is Obaidul Quader.  On Thursday, Quader left Dhaka for Singapore for health checkup.

The minister underwent a bypass surgery in Singapore Mount Elizabeth Hospital on March 20 this year and return home on May 15 last.

Obaidul Quader is scheduled to return home on Friday night. Earlier, on March 3, Qauder was admitted at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital following breathing complications. Later, doctors conducted an angiogram and found three blockages in his coronary arteries.
