Freelancing for women

Dutch technology training company CoderTrusts has set a target to create ‘decent job opportunities’ for one thousand underprivileged women in Bangladesh.

Addressing a function in the capital recently, officials of the firm also informed that Bangladesh will benefit from the project earning foreign currency through online freelancing. ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak was the chief guest while CodersTrust Country Manager Aziz Ahmed presided over the meeting at Krishibid Institute in the capital, said a news release.

Country Manager Aziz Ahmed said CodersTrust has taken initiative to bring international knowledge and skills to Bangladesh to create technology-advanced human resources for inclusive development. Among others, former Principle Secretary Abdul Karim, Principal Secretary Nojibur Rahman, Danish Ambassador Winnie Estrup Petersen and former Education Secretary Nazrul Islam Khan were present on the occasion.
