Bangladesh HP team take on Sri Lanka today

The second and final match of the two-match four-day unofficial Test series between Bangladesh High Performance (HP) team and Sri Lanka Emerging team begins today at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox's Bazar.

The match will kick-off at 9:30 am (BST).

The first four-day unofficial Test match between touring Sri Lanka and Bangladesh ended in a draw on the 4th and final day at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Friday.

Bangladesh which scored 360 runs in the first innings, opened the 2nd innings on the last day (Friday) scored 102 for 4 in 43 overs after dismissing Sri Lanka for 224 runs in 103.4 when the bails were draw for the final day.

Earlier, Islanders Sri Lanka Emerging Cricket team clinched the three-match unofficial ODI series 2-1 beating hosts Bangladesh Emerging team by seven wickets under D/L method in the 3rd and last match at the same venue in Khulna last Saturday.

Sri Lanka made a flying start beating Bangladesh by a big margin of 186 runs in the first one-day match at BKSP in Savar on August 18.

But, the hosts made a good comeback in the 2nd match beating Sri Lanka by two wickets, also at BKSP ground in Savar on August 21.
