Burning Face Mask: For A Pretty Face

The burning mask can be one of your favorite skin care recipes. This mask will give you some amazing benefits. You can easily make this mask at your home with honey, nutmeg and cinnamon.

To prepare the mask, take 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of natural honey, and mix all the ingredients. Apply the mask on your face and wash off after twenty minutes. You will feel a slight burning and tingling sensation as cinnamon will heat up your skin and increase blood flow. To make it customizable for your skin needs, you can add other ingredients such as turmeric, oatmeal, or lemon juice to it too. But, be super careful about adding lemon juice to any of your face masks. Lemon contains a chemical known as limonene. This chemical can cause photosensitivity and lead to severe skin burns. So, whenever you put lemon juice on the skin of your face or body, make sure that your skin does not get exposed to sunlight until you’ve washed it off completely. Here are some benefits of burning face mask:

It fights fine lines

Cinnamon is a fantastic anti-fine line agent. It contains compounds which promote circulation. When you will apply it on your skin, it will stimulate the skin and draws blood to the surface of skin. The movement of blood to the surface of skin brings more oxygen and nutrients to the skin. It nourishes the skin back to health, making it look healthy, glowing, and rejuvenated. By doing so, the fine lines will start to fade away.

Anti-acne benefits

Both honey and cinnamon are antibacterial, and manages to combat the bacteria that causes acne bursts. Honey is particularly effective against the swollen, red pimples since its properties are greater.

Moisturizing properties

Honey is also really moisturizing. It acts by absorbing water from the environment and locking it underneath your skin. This is why you often see honey as a primary ingredient in various dry skin treatments.

Effective for eczema

A blend of honey and cinnamon applied to patches of skin affected by eczema could help you get relief from some of the irritation and itchiness experienced due to this ailment.

Honey has been used extensively as the main ingredient of many natural remedies. The antibacterial properties of honey render it to an excellent substance for the prevention and treatment of acne. Cinnamon has been used for thousands of years for treating different kinds of ailments due to its antiseptic, antiviral, and antifungal properties. These properties also makes cinnamon a great substance for preventing and treating pimples. Like honey and cinnamon, nutmeg has antibacterial and antiviral properties which help to fight acne and pimples.
