Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) Bangladesh has launched the first ever app ‘to improve teaching and learning for Rohingya children in Cox’s Bazar camps.
VSO School App is an education app and learning tool developed in partnership with Ustad Mobile (Access and Share Educational Content Offline) supported by Expo Live, an Expo 2020 Dubai initiative.Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner Abul Kalam launched the app as the chief guest on Wednesday, said a news release.
VSO Bangladesh Country Director Forkhan Uddin said the app will enable Rohingya children to learn different skills from the school app. Some 2,100 children would benefit from the childhood education project.
Among others, Ustad Mobile Chief Executive Mike Dawson and researcher Tariq Hasan were also present at the program. The app ‘VSO School’ is available on Google Play.
