Bangladesh High Performance (HP) team to take on their Sri Lankan opponent in the one-day series decider today at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.

The hosts suffered a humiliating 186-run defeat to Sri Lankan team on Sunday at BKSP in the first of the three-match series.

The Sri Lanka HP team amassed 304-7 after which the hosts even couldn’t play the full 50 overs quota as they were bowled out for 118 in just 28.3 overs. The performance was jaded and out-of-sort, something which created a huge uproar in the cricket’s fraternity.

In the second game, half-centuries from Yasir Ali and Nazmul Hossain Shanto helped Bangladesh team record a two-wicket win over Sri Lanka and levelled the series 1-1 at BKSP on Wednesday.

So the third and final game of the three-match one-day series became a final for both teams.

After the one-day series, both teams will lock horns in a two-match four-day series. While the first four-day game will take place in Khulna the second game will be held in Cox’s Bazar.
