Marcel-daily sun World Cup Cricket Quiz-2019 draw was held through a formal lottery in a gala event at conference room of daily sun in Bashundhara Residential Area on Thursday.

The daily sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury presided over the event as the chief guest.

On behalf of Walton, Executive Director (Marketing) Humayun Kabir and Walton Executive Director (Head of Corporate Sales and Development) Mohammod Sirajul Islam graced the event with their presence.

Among others, daily sun Chief Reporter Firoz Al Mamun, Advertisement and Communication Deputy Manager Md Gias Uddin Emon were also present.

Out of thousands of participants, lucky 26 were selected through a lottery draw system. The quiz was divided into two phases with each phase containing 13 prizes.

Riyad from Netrokona was first prize winner of the first phase; Sahidul Islam from Dhaka was the second prize winner while Jannatun Nayem from Dhaka became the third prize winner.

Meanwhile, second phase saw Sharika from Dhaka coming out as the first prize winner, Nargis Akter from Madaripur clinching the second prize and Rina Akhter from Feni taking in the third prize.

Five fourth prize winners and five fifth prize winners were also decided through a raffle draw from each phase.

In the first phase, the first prize was a 12.5 CFT Marcel Refrigerator, second prize was a 32” Marcel LED TV and third prize was a 24” Marcel LED TV. 5 Marcel blenders were on offer as the fourth prize for five individual winners and five fifth prize winners will avail 5 Marcel Rice Cookers.

In the second phase, first prize was a 43” Marcel LED TV, second prize was a 12.5 CFT Marcel Refrigerator and third prize was a 24” Marcel LED TV. Just like the first phase, 5 Marcel blenders were on offer as the fourth prize for five individual winners and five fifth prize winners will avail 5 Marcel Rice Cookers in the second phase as well.

In his speech, Walton Group Executive Director (PR and Media) Humayun Kabir also emphasised on the continuing relationship between Bashundhara Group and Walton Group which resulted in such an brain tingling quiz contests.

Walton sponsored daily sun quiz event during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. I want to thank them who participated in this competition. And also want to thank daily sun for arranging this quiz completion.  We have a very good relationship with daily sun, this good relationship will grow stronger in the days to come,” told Kabir.

“And here I also want to announce that, Walton has done an agreement with Amazon, our products now will be available in Amazon. We have also done agreement with Hyundai and we are going to sign a deal with Reliance Company too,” said Humayun Kabir.
