BFF to disclose plans for FIFA, AFC qualifiers today

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will disclose their plans today for the joint qualification (round 1) for the FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023.

The federation will inform about the campaign after the National Teams Committee meeting at Gemcon Tower in Dhanmondi-27.

Bangladesh have been placed in Asian (AFC) Group E alongwith Qatar, Oman, neighbouring India and Afghanistan.

The team will start their home and away basis campaign on September 10 taking on Afghanistan at Dushanbe in Tajikistan.

In their next matches, Bangladesh will play Qatar on October 10 in Bangladesh, India on October 15 in India, Oman on November 14 in Oman, Afghanistan on 26 March, 2020 in Bangladesh, Qatar on March 31 in Qatar, India on June 4 in Bangladesh and Oman on June 9 in Bangladesh.

Earlier, BFF announced a 25-member preliminary team of Bangladesh National Football Team for the campaign on August 16.
