Dhaka city BNP leader joins JP

Dhaka city unit BNP leader Sayeed Manjur Hossain has left his party and joined Jatiya Party (JP) of HM Ershad.    

Sayeed Manjur Hossain was organising secretary of Dhaka north city unit of the BNP before he joined JP. Manjur formally joined the JP, also opposition in the parliament, through presenting bouquet to JP Chairman GM Quader at his Banani office in the capital on Monday.     

Welcoming Manjur to his party, GM Quader said he has joined the JP being inspired by the ideals of late HM Ershad.

Former BNP leader Manjur was sports affairs secretary of the Central Students’ Unit of Dhaka College from 1989 to 1990.
