Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader urged leaders and activists to take an oath to keep the party united at any cost.
Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, came up with the statement while delivering introductory speech at a discussion at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital on Monday marking the 70th founding anniversary of the party.Quader also urged them to fulfill all the promises of election manifesto. “We will also implement vision 2021 and vision 2041. We have to continue development and progress of our country,” he added.
The minister also pledged to make the party stronger than before. He said there is nothing bigger than love and respect of people in life of a political leader.
“I have been working to develop roads and highways with courage and honesty,” Quader said.
