Premier Bank on Wednesday launched mobile applications to reach digital banking service on the finger tips of customers.
According to the banker, the mobile app titled ‘PMoney’ will synchronies existing internet banking services including different bill payments and fund transfer.Premier Bank Chairman HBM Iqbal introduced the ‘smart banking service’ along with Directors Abdus Salam Murshedy and Mohammad Imran Iqbal at a function at the banks head office in capital’s Banani on Wednesday.
Addressing the function, Premier Bank Chairman HBM Iqbal said the bank has been continuing innovations and bring excellences in products and services to the market.
Iqbal also highlighted several initiatives of the banks which will bring more financial inclusion including digital banking to adopt with the global trend of financial services.
PBL Managing Director Reazul Karim shared some achievements of the banks in several indicators including profit margin, remittance inflow and deposit growth.
Rezaul also mentioned that the application will enhance the growth of the bank to reach convenient services
Among others, Advisor Muhammed Ali, Additional Managing Directors Abdul Jabber Chowdhury and Golam Awlia were also present in the occasion.The bank Information Technology division head Mashuqur Rahman described the backend activities of the digital service developments in the pace of increasing penetration of connectivity in the country.
Officials informed that the app will also offer merchant payment, service request, beneficiary management, branch location and other banking services.
