Woman strangled in Natore

NATORE: A woman was strangulated to death at her house by some miscreants at Bashila village in Naldanga upazila early Friday, reports UNB.

The deceased was identified as Amena Bibi, wife of late Abdur Razzak of the village. She had been living alone at her house.

Shafiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Naldanga Police Station, said a group of miscreants entered the house of Amena Bibi sometime at night and strangled her to death with her sari when she was asleep.

On information, police recovered the body in the morning and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy.
