Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) on Sunday found allegations against former officer-in-charge (OC) of Sonagazi police station Moazzem Hossain true.

The allegation against Moazzem Hossain is that he videoed Nusrat while she was complaining against former principal of Sonagazi Islami Madrasa Siraj-ud-Daula for abusing her.

Later, Moazzem spread the video on social media.

Meanwhile, after the investigation, the assistant superintendent of police (ASP), Rima Sultana, submitted the report to the Cyber Court.

PBI chief and deputy inspector general (DIG) Banaj Kumar Majumder said, “The investigation report of the case filed by Barrister Sayedul Huq Sumon was placed before the court.  The inquiry found partial truthfulness of the allegation against the former OC.”

On April 6, some incumbent and former students of the madrasa set Nusrat on fire on its rooftop. Later, she succumbed to her injuries on April 10.

On March 27, Sonagazi Islami Madrasa Principal Siraj harassed her at his office room.

About the charge sheet, the PBI boss said that it would be submitted by this month.
