Many mosques and other buildings were constructed particularly during Sultanate and Mughal periods. ‘Choto Sona Mosjid’ is one of those infrastructures. The mosque was built during the reign of Sultan Hussain Shah, between 1493 and 1519. The mosque is one of the best-preserved sultana monuments. Many people visit this place and feel awe-inspiring owing to the beauty created by the stripping of the decorative mihrabs and the mosque courtyard.
