Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) reinstates luxurious air-conditioned bus service today ahead of the Eid ul-Fitr on Dhaka-Narayanganj route after a two-year break.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, also General Secretary of Awami League, inaugurates the service near Bangabandhu Stadium in the city.

A total of 11 air-conditioned buses will now ply on the route though at least 20 buses are needed for smooth service.

The fare of the 51-seater has been fixed at Tk 55. The buses will pick up passengers in four points on the route.
