Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) authorities on Tuesday said there is no scope to hold examinations again for recruitment of medical officers of the university as no anomaly took place in the recently held recruitment test for the post.

The university authorities made their clarification mentioning recent speech of some unsuccessful candidates of the examinations and their demand of cancelation of results of the test and arranging re-examination.

“It is noticeable matter that no allegation of question paper leakage or any type of irregularity was found from the day of recruitment examination held on March 22 till the day of publishing results on May 12.  After publishing the results, some unsuccessful candidates placed baseless allegation in this regard,” said a statement of the BSMMU.

It further said the university authorities thinks that the recruitment examination was held neutrally and transparently through the committee formed by senior teachers.

“So, there is no scope of canceling the results of the recruitment examination or taking re-examination as the demand of cancellation of the examination results, made by some unsuccessful candidates, is totally illogical,” said the BSMMU statement.
