Former Bangladesh skipper Habibul Bashar Sumon will be commentating in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The Bangladesh Cricket Board selector will be adorning his badge with yet another medal as the chance to commentate in IPL is considered to be the Holy Grail for cricket analysts all over the world.
Several national cricketers have join IPL for different franchisee in different capacities. But for Habibul it will be in the commentary box.Though Sumon doesn’t have any formal experience in the commentary box, the veteran said he is not too worried about it as he has had enough experience of cricket to handle the pressure of holding a microphone.
“I think it won’t be a problem for me in the commentary box as I have enough experience of playing cricket. After all, I will be talking about cricket, isn’t it?” Habibul told daily sun on Thursday.
Formal national captain who is also part of the national selection panel, will fly to Mumbai to have a seven day sting with Star Jolsha.
