Moot court room launched at AIUB

Lawmaker Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh inaugurates a moot court room by cutting a cake at the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) in the capital on Monday.

A ‘Moot Court Room’ was inaugurated at the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) in the capital on Monday.

The establishment of the court room where law students will argue imaginary cases for practice was a long cherished desire of the faculties and students of Department of Law of AIUB.

Lawmaker Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh was present as the chief guest on the occasion and inaugurated the Moot Court Room, says a press release.

Lawmaker Nahim Razzak was present as the special guest at the event.

AIUB Vice Chancellor Dr Carmen Z. Lamagna, Chairman of Board of Trustee Nadia Anwar, Founder Member Dr Hasanul A Hasan and Founder Member Ishtiaque Abedin were present.

Deans, associate deans, faculties, officials, employees and students of Department of Law were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the event, Fazle Noor Taposh said that this moot court room would be very much beneficial to the students for becoming successful lawyers.
