Dutch Ambassador to Bangladesh Harry Verweij on Tuesday said Bangladesh needs more branding to attract foreign investors.

“The country is highly potential. The more the world knows about Bangladesh; the more the investors will visit here,” said the ambassador during his meeting with Agriculture Minister Dr M Abdur Razzaque at his office in the ministry.

He said his country will assist Dhaka for processing, marketing and conserving agricultural products to increase trade and investment between Bangladesh and the Netherlands.  The Dutch ambassador also made a courtesy call on State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak at his office on the day.

Palak also expressed the hope that the Netherlands will help the government of Bangladesh to turn the country into a digital one.
