RAJSHAHI: Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) will provide more people-friendly civic services after the best uses of the time-fitting innovations, reports BSS.
Moreover, RMP members will also earn confidence and trust of the people through discharging duties with utmost sincerity and honesty.This was revealed at the inaugural session of a five-day training workshop titled “Civic Services Innovations” at RMP training hall room here today.
A2I Programme of Prime Minister’s office and Innovation and Best Practice Unit of Bangladesh Police jointly organized the workshop with the main thrust of making the police services quick, easy and effective.
Additional Inspector General of Police Shafiqul Islam addressed the session as chief guest with RMP Commissioner AKM Hafiz Akter in the chair.
Superintendent of Police Md Shahidullah, RMP Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam, Assistant Inspector General of Police Nessar Uddin and Deputy Director of Local Government Md Salahuddin also spoke on the occasion.
Shafiqul Islam asked the police forces to earn confidence and trust of the people through discharging their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty.
He also urged them to dedicate themselves to stamp out criminals, including militants and terrorists, for ensuring peace and security of the people.
