Monnujan off to Geneva to attend ILO meeting

State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian left Dhaka for Geneva in Switzerland to participate the 335th governing body meeting of International Labour Organization (ILO) on Sunday night.

ILO, comprising of 187 member countries, stepped into its 100 years.

The state minister will take part at the discussion meeting on our Independent Day at Bangladesh Mission in Geneva on March 26.

During the meeting, she will describe the present condition of our country’s workers and the steps taken by the government for the welfare of the labourers.

On March 29, she will leave Geneva for Dhaka.
