A four-day international exposition is set to begin at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in city on March 27 with a view to showcasing food and agriculture-related innovative products and services from home and abroad.
Some 132 exhibitors from 11 countries will showcase their products and services in 150 booths at the 4th edition of the Food and Agro Bangladesh International Expo 2019 at ICCB. Of the exhibitors, 40 percent will come from abroad.The countries are Bangladesh, India, China, Thailand, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Palestine, and the UAE, said Meherun N Islam, president and group managing director of CEMS Bangladesh, at a press conference at the Economic Reporters’ Forum on Monday. CEMS Bangladesh Executive Director Tanveer Qamrul Islam, head of marketing and communications Nayem Sharif and senior manager (international coordination) Asif Arman were present at the media briefing.
“The 4th Food and Agro Bangladesh International Expo-2019 will be a perfect platform for manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their products and services. This will also highlight the rapid development in the food industry,” she said.
