Army cycling team goes to India

Bangladesh Army cycling team reached India on Monday to participate in the third joint cycling expedition of Indian Army and Bangladesh Army.

The cycling team of Bangladesh Army crossed Bangladesh through Burimari border and reached Koch Bihar of India. Officers, JCIs and other senior army officers are in the 15-member Bangladesh Army cycling team.

The inauguration of the joint cycling expedition will be held in Koch Bihar today. After four days of cycling inside India, cyclists will enter Bangladesh on March 22 and four days cycling will be held in Bangladesh.

The joint cycling campaign will be formally concluded with the ‘Flag Inn’ ceremony on March 25.

This cycling expedition is being organized every year since 2017 with the participation of army members of both countries to further accelerate the sincere and cordial relations between Bangladesh Army and India Army.

A total of 30 military personnel from two countries participated in this expedition.
