Bashundhara Kings blasted Brothers Union by 2-0 goals in their Bangladesh Premier League match at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital on Thursday.
Ace recruits Daniel Colindres and Bakhtiyar Duyshobekov burst through the Brothers’ nets to bring the coveted victory for Bashundhara Kings.Bashundhara went on the offence early in the match. On the back of repeated attacks, Bashundhara took the lead on the 34th minute of the match courtesy of a sensational goal Baktiyar Duyshobekov.
Taking the lead on the first half, Bashundhara broke through the Brothers defence on numerous occasions courtesy of their local ace Motin Mia, but the attacks did not yield much result.
The final keel in Brothers’ coffin was hammered by none other than Bashundhara World Cupper Daniel Colindres on the final minutes of the match with a brilliant assist from Bashundhara Brazilian forward Marcos Vinicius.
