Monoj, Nila collaborate in TV play for first time

Two young and promising actors of the time Monoj Pramanik and Nilanjona Nila have paired up in a TV play for the first time ever.

Titled ‘Uro Megher Boshonto’, the play was shot at different locations of Uttara area in the capital.

Monoj works at a University, so he has to carefully decide on his schedule for his shooting. Many directors even want to rope him in their works, yet he cannot perform in many plays as he has to think about his students as well. Nevertheless, he agrees to work for the plays, if they have good stories.

In connection with the play, Monoj said, “The story of the play is so interesting. And this is the first time I have performed with Nila as her co-artiste. She is a good artiste. I am very optimistic about the play.”

Meanwhile, director Tarek Rahman, who has helmed the play, informed that Uro Megher Boshonto’ will appear on RTV soon. About their work, actress Nila said, “This is the first time that I have worked with director Tarek and actor Monoj. As there was a very good understanding among us, the work has been very good as well.”

The two artistes, however, were seen in a TV show before.
