GPH Group Chairman Mohammed Jahangir Alam said the extended plant of GPH is going into production with electric ark furnace quantum method by middle of this year.

Use of the latest technology will turn the company as global brand and uphold image of the country across the globe.

He said these while addressing at a function organised to award ‘Recognition of dedicated service during 2018’ to its staff at Chattogram Club Limited on Thursday.

The GPH chairman in his speech observed that confidence is one of the main accessories in the professional filed.

“The staff should follow the rules of safety and acquaint themselves with the modern technologies through training to get promotion step by step,” he said.

The chairman also urged the staff to work with utmost sincerity and honesty for betterment of the company further.

The company Additional Managing Director Mohammed Almas Shimul said GPH Ispat has been providing the staff with profit participation fund and bonus on production of different items for encouraging them.

Advisor Salehin Mushfique Sadaf laid emphasis on enriching knowledge through learning experiences of the elders.

Executive Director (Plant) Engineer Madani M Imtiaj Hossain delivered welcome speech at the programme while Executive Director and Company Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique the vote of thanks.

Executive Director (F&BD) Kamrul Islam, Engineers Rofikul Islam, Yeiheia Mahmud Rijvi, Rizwan Haider Chowdhury, Ahmed Ishtiaque Chowdhury and Saiduzzaman Sarker also addressed the programme among others.

A total of 44 staff were handed over recognition certificates for their dedicated services in the year 2018 in different categories at the programme.
