Malaysian police nabbed six people, including a Bangladeshi, on suspicion of their links to militancy.

The police claimed the arrestees were planning to carry out terror attacks in a building in the country.

They were arrested in five separate raids between December last year and January this year.

The arrestees are two Malaysians and four foreigners from Singapore, Bangladesh, Philippines and a South Asian country, Fuzi Harun, Malaysian police inspector general, said in a statement posted on social media.
