Joy reappointed PM’s ICT adviser

Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been reappointed as PM’s part-time and honorary Information and Communication Technology (ICT) adviser, reports BSS.

A circular has been issued in this regard today that said the Prime Minister appointed Sajeeb Wazed Joy as her adviser under 3 (B) (1) of the Rules of Business, 1996.

Joy would carry out his duties on the prime minister’s instructions and suggestions, according to the circular issued by Director (administration) of the Prime Minister’s Office, M Ahsan Kibria Siddique.

Meanwhile, Salman F Rahman has been appointed as the private industry and investment adviser to the prime minister. The Cabinet Division published a circular in this regard on Tuesday.

It said the prime minister has appointed Rahman as her adviser under 3 (B) (1) of the Rules of Business, 1996.

He will have the rank of a minister without salary.

Rahman was elected a member of parliament from Dhaka-1 constituency in the December 30 national polls.
