Malware protection become more challenging in Bangladesh along with 

South Asian countries in the upcoming year as most of the organizations have weak network firewall, a UK security firm report projected.

A survey report of United Kingdom-based firm Sophos also suggested that almost all files (89 percent) contain malware which remained unscreened in existing system.

Sophos shared the finding at a view exchange meeting with top technology officials at a function meet in association with local partner Smart Data Technology at Dhaka Club in the capital.

Sophos Bangladesh Head Abul Hasnat Mohsin unveiled the report at the programme styled ‘See the Future’ while Smart Data Chief Executive Fazlur Rahman spoke briefed about the security issues.

Sophos has been provided security solutions to the 100 million users in 150 countries across the world.
