The grand finale of AUX and HUE intra university business case competition ‘TEXPRES 2018’, organised by Bangladesh University of Textile (BUTEX) business club was held at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro recently.

‘Team ADROITERS’ became the champion of this season for their outstanding idea presented at the grand finale. ‘Team GAME CHANGERS’ became the 1st runner up while ‘Team BISHORGO’ became 2nd runner up of this competition.

The competition started on November 30 with the online case solving round, where around 60 teams from BUTEX participated. Among them 7 teams were selected for the final presentation round.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AUX & HUE Rashidul Islam Russel, Urban Planner, Dept. of URP BUET  Saraf Anjum Disha and TETRA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mubashir Tahmid were present as judge in the final round.

Rashidul Islam inspired present students to focus on establishing self-dependent textile industry in Bangladesh in his speech.

Bangladesh University of Textiles is acting as the heart of the sector by providing textile graduates who are leading the sector. Students of this institution are trying heart and soul to improve the skills that can be helpful to promote the textile sector of this country.

BUTEX Business club, one of the most prominent clubs in BUTEX, is a platform for the students to foster their leadership skill.

It is also working to develop business ideas among the students of BUTEX. For this it organizes textile based business case competitions. These competitions are engaging students to the real life business problem solving.

They are also sharing different textile based business ideas. Students think that these competitions give them platform to share their ideas and also help to improve their critical thinking ability.
