China to help resolve Rohingya crisis

Assures Chinese minister

Minister for international relation of China Communist Party, Song Tao assured Bangladesh to give support on Rohingya issue. 

Tao said China wanted a peaceful resolution over Rohingya issue in a constructive manner. He also hoped that the Myanmar will implement their initiate for resolving the crisis. The Chinese minister came up with the remark while Awami League delegation met Song Tao on Monday during its seven-day visit.

Tao said Bangladesh should need stability of its government and political atmosphere for further development of the country.

A delegation of Awami League went to China at an invitation of China Communist Party on Sunday.

Led by AL presidium member Faruk Khan, the delegation includes party leaders Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Shammi Ahmed, Abdus Sabur, Shamsun Nahar Chapa, Faridunnahar Laily, Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Noufel, Delwar Hossain, Biplab Barua, ABM Reazul Kabir Kawsar, Parveen Zaman Kalpana, Anwar Hossain, Merina Jahan, Remond Areng and Tarun Kanti Das.

At the discussion, a vice minister of China and Director General of international relation department Sun Haiyan, among others, was present from China side.
