Jatiya Party (Ershad)-led Sammilito Jatiya Jote (United National Alliance) will hold a public rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital today.

At the rally, JP Chairman HM Ershad, also the chief of the coalition, will make it clear about their stance in the upcoming parliamentary polls and their next course of action, party sources said.

Talking to daily sun, Jatiya Party presidium member Khaled Akhter said the public rally will start at 11:00 am and leaders and activists of the alliance will join the programme from across the country.

Talking to the daily sun, a top leader of Jatiya Party, on condition of anonymity, said, “It is very important to hold a grand rally ahead of the upcoming JS polls to show our strength, as it will help us bargain with major political parties over power and seat-sharing.”
